Good Day Everyone, Hold onto your hats! This is the biggest week the AFSG has ever had! What a great opportunities the month of March will be bringing us. We will be holding our March Veterans Coffee Chat, the 13th Annual Veterans Dinner and Golf Event and The Grand Board of Directors will finally be voting on the construction of the Veterans Monument! So let’s get started in order of date!

Allison will be speaking about the resources offered to Veterans in the City of Surprise. Should be a very informative presentation. Coffee and donuts will be served. We hope to see you there!
Board of Directors Final Vote On Veteran Monument Construction
March 9, 2023, 1 PM
Mediterranean Rm., Palm Center
It has been 12 years in the making, but we have finally reached the point were our Board of Directors give a final approval to begin construction of the Veterans Monument. This is it! Your last opportunity to show support for a project long overdue. For all those who have written to the Board or spoke at the Board Workshops thank you so much.
13th Annual Veterans Event
March 10, 2023, Sponsor Dinner
There is still time to participate in our Sponsor Dinner if you wish to be a Hole Sponsor or above donor (see attached tri fold). Many Hole Sponsors dedicate their sponsor sign to a family member, relative or friend who has served or is serving now. All donor donations are made directly to one of the 4 foundations we sponsor, Honor Flight Arizona, Foundation for Service Dog Support, Soldiers Best Friend and Feherty’s Troops First Foundation.

There is still a few signups for our golf event. If you are interested in playing please register at the Granite Falls Pro Shop ASAP.

Thanks to all our members who volunteered at St. Marys Food Bank, February 8, 2023! Members worked on different shifts and it was much appreciated.
